Mrs. Sullivan is a Guidance Counselor at Mountain Lake High School
Betsy Sullivan has enjoyed working as a school counselor at Mountain Lakes High School for the past sixteen years. Prior to her employment at MLHS, Betsy worked as a school counselor on Long Island and Rockland County. Betsy began her career in education in 1982 working as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Siena College. She earned a Masters in Counseling Psychology and Research in Education from HofstraUniversity while working part-time as a Transfer Counselor. She also earned Advanced credits in Educational Administration from Brooklyn College. Her professional memberships include NACAC, NJEA, NJACAC, and MCPCA organizations.
Betsy has been married for 31 years and has three children who all graduated for MLHS. Her hobbies are the study of health, nutrition, the practice of yoga, hiking, spinning, reading, and travel.
