The Mountain Lakes High School Guitar Ensemble performs music in a variety of genres from classical to jazz to rock. The ensemble may include advanced guitar class students as well as Briarcliff students who practice after school at the high school on Thursdays. The ensemble has performed at school concerts, the Morris County Teen Arts Festival and at the Bergen Academies in Hackensack for a Guitar Ensemble Festival.

Every Thursday after school there is a guitar ensemble practice in the Choral/Strings room 302. Students from Briarcliff come over to rehearse music to be performed in school concerts. Current and former members of the high school guitar class may participate in these practices. A minimum note reading proficiency is required
