9th Grade

Freshman year is about transitioning to high school, focusing on academic achievement, and pursuing interests outside of the classroom. As students set personal goals and strive to reach them, they are creating the building blocks that will ultimately help them prepare for the college process. Being fully present in the high school experience is the best way for first-year students to grow into well-rounded learners who are ready to face future challenges. Along these lines, the School Counseling Department is intentional in providing programming that is developmentally appropriate and focuses on the specific needs of ninth graders.
