Please follow these procedures when reporting your child’s absence, late arrival or leaving early
for school.
Parent/guardians should email,
[email protected] or call the attendance phone line at
973-833-8213, before 8:00 AM. Please state your
child’s first and last name, grade level, the
home room teacher’s name and the reason for the absence. Please be specific with reasons for
absence (fever, strep, diagnosis, etc.).
If you choose to email,
please copy the homeroom teacher and, if applicable,
[email protected] (the before/aftercare program).
Please remember that if you should arrive after 8:35 am, you must bring your child to the
Main Office to sign them in as a late arrival. Our attendance records are submitted
immediately at 8:35 am.
Please do not send changes for pick-up after 2:00 PM, many teachers are unavailable to
check emails that late in the day.
