3rd Graders at Wildwood have been busy learning! In Math, the students were introduced to firstinmath.com, which is a website where they can practice their facts. In Social Studies and Language Arts, the students have been learning about the Native Americans. They enjoyed building temporary shelters and constructed models of Native American longhouses with Mr. Keith.
In Language Arts, students have been making connections with the text they are reading. The students discussed text-to-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world connections and applied this skill to their guided and independent reading books. The students are also enjoying cursive handwriting.
