May has been a busy month for 3rd grade! The 3rd grade teachers would like to thank their students and the Home and School Association for the beautiful bouquets of flowers and delicious luncheon! In language arts the students are busy preparing for the Battle of the Books! Each class has been split into teams and are reading and taking notes in preparationfor the 3rd Grade "Battle!" The students are also being introduced to the various components of Fairy Tales. This month in math we will focus on geometry and fractions. Encourage your students to identify different shapes in your house and out in the community.
