The mission of Model United Nations for students to become more involved in their role as global citizens. Through this process, students will be honing their public speaking skills by participation in the annual Model UN symposium. There are about 30 members for this clubs. The club meets 2-3 times per month. The Club highlights and/or accomplishments from last year are:
 
1.  At the 2018 YMCA of Burlington & Camden Counties Model UN Conference in Hershey, PA
2.  Mountain Lakes delegation won "Outstanding Delegation" award from the organization.
3.  Meg Hatton - "Outstanding 1st Year Delegate" award for the W.H.O. (World Health Org.)
4.  Brad Bogues - "Outstanding C.R.P. report" award for Political & Security Council B
5.  Kate Christy - a. Elected Vice Chairperson Of General Assembly B for the 2019 MUN Conference
6.  Nominated for participation in CONA
7.  Won "Premier Delegate" award for General Assembly B
8.  MLHS delegation competed against 30 other H.S. from NJ, PA and DE and 1,300 participants.
 
Mr. Ziccardi states that the goals for this year are “Greater participation, leadership & involvement of MLHS delegates at the symposium. We would also like to see more accomplishments and awards at the annual symposium in 2019.”
