Peer leadership is committed to providing leadership for the Mountain Lakes High School community through student directed activities and programs which foster a positive learning and social environment. There about 60 students selected for this program. This leadership group meets in August for Peer Leader Training, and there are roughly 5 meetings with Freshman groups throughout the school year. There is a midyear Peer Leader training as well as executive board meetings as needed. Some of the Club/Activity highlights and/or accomplishments from last year are:
1. Freshman Orientation
2. The Mykee Fowlin Presentation
3. Week of Respect activities
4. Change for Change Fundraiser
5. Freshman Field Day
6. Freshman Picnic
Mr. Doniloski and Mrs. Pagan state that the goals for this year are, “For Peer Leader groups to meet 5 or more times throughout the school year.”
