Good evening,
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We are preparing for the implementation of our Referendum construction. FKA, the architectural firm leading this project, will present timelines for the project at our public Board meeting this Monday evening, December 4that 7:30 pm in the MLHS Media Center. Please join us. We have also adopted a school calendar that will allow us to maximize construction when school is not in session. I am pleased that our recently appointed Student Assistant Coordinator, Ms. Cara Pagan, has been working with students to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Please review Ms. Pagan’s recent newsletter, attached. Student Assistance Coordinator News Letter.pdf
We have welcomed many new families into our district this year. In a recent survey of these families; they indicated an interest in being paired with a “veteran buddy” to contact when they have questions about our schools and community. In addition, our new families would also like the opportunity to attend an informal coffee chat with families who have children in the same grade level. Our students and faculty continue to gain accolades. Championship titles, teacher grants and scholarly publications are plentiful in our district.
