Subject: Make Up Snow Days/Parent Presentations/Rockin' Ed

Good morning,

Please remember due to the fact that we closed two more days than planned this winter, all Mountain Lakes Public Schools will be in session on Thursday, April 5th and Friday, April 6th; full, regular school days.

Our first session of Parent University was informative and enjoyable. Session two is Monday evening. It's not too late to join the workshops. Parent-University-Flyer.pdf. Monday is also a Board of Education meeting at 7:30 pm in the Mountain Lakes High School Media Center. We needed to delay the Board meeting because we are presenting our preliminary budget for 2018-2019 and the state delayed the release of state aid figures. Unfortunately, this meeting does conflict with Borough Council which will also hold their meeting on Monday evening.

This spring is going to require a good deal of patience as many events have been rescheduled following the storms and conflicts are inevitable. I hope that you will be able to join us on the new date, Wednesday, April 25th for School Board Attorney, Mark Toscano's presentation, HIB, Student Confidentiality, & Student Discipline: A Legal Primer. What better way to spend time having fun with your neighbors and supporting the schools than the annual MLEF Fundraiser?
